Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever is focused on the Hereafter, Allah will settle his affairs for him and make him feel content with his lot, and his provision and worldly gains will undoubtedly come to him.” (Sunan Ibn Mājah)
This hadith reminds us of a beautiful reality: when your heart is fixed on the Hereafter, your life finds clarity and purpose. Allah organises your scattered concerns, places contentment in your heart, and even the dunya comes to you, humbled, not the other way around.
Contrast this with those who chase the dunya as their primary goal:
“Whoever desires this world alone, We hasten for them what We will… then We appoint for them Hell…”(Qurʾān 17:18)
But for those who strive for the Hereafter:
“But whoever desires the Hereafter and strives for it as it should be strived for, and is a believer—those, their effort will be appreciated.” (Qurʾān 17:19)
And Allah promises:
“Whoever fears Allah—He will make for him a way out. And provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah—then He is sufficient for him.”(Qurʾān 65:2–3)
Before starting your day, ask yourself: Is my goal today the pleasure of Allah? If you orient your heart toward the Akhirah, the chaos of this world quiets, your heart feels full, and your path becomes easier than you thought.
Let the Hereafter lead your choices and watch how the dunya follows.
