Muadh ibn Anas narrates that the Prophet of Allah peace be upon him said, Whoever eats some food and then says, all praise belongs to Allah, the one who fed me this (food) and gave it to me without any power and ability from me, his previous (minor) sins are forgiven and whoever wears clothes and says all praise belongs to Allah, the one who clothed me with this (cloth) and gave it to me without any power and ability from me his previous (minor) sins are forgiven  

حدثنا أبو الربيع الزهراني حدثنا عبد الله ابن يزيد حدثني سعيد بن أبي أيوب حدثني أبو مرحوم عبد الرحيم بن ميمون عن سهب بن معاذ بن أنس عن أبيه : عن النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم قال :

من أكل طعاما فقال : الحمد لله الذي أطعمني هذا ورزقنيه من غير حول مني ولا قوة غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه ومن لبس ثوبا فقال : الحمد لله الذي كساني هذا ورزقنيه من غير حول مني ولا قوة غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه
