“Compare yourself to those who are less fortunate than you, not those who are more fortunate. This will help you appreciate the blessings Allah has given you.” (Sunan Ibn Mājah)

  • The partner you occasionally argue with is the cherished dream of those alone. 
  • Even the little money you may save each month is a distant hope for those buried in debt.

Let’s cultivate a heart of gratitude, appreciating the countless blessings that surround us. Instead of focusing on what we lack, let’s cherish what we have.

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ
“My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me.” (Sūrah An-Naḥl, 16:19)
