Praying salah in a chair due to arthritis

Praying Salah In Chair

Can we pray salah on a chair. I have arthritis in my legs and back and I am in a lot of pain when I stand in qiyam and sit in tashud position. I’m 40 yrs old and I feel embraced as I see people older and standing up. Dose my salah count, while praying on the chair.
I teach from home Monday to Friday and also am involved in the work of dawah. But I have a family with five children they need time as well please help to put my mind at ease. I know I should be grateful to Allah as he’s utilising me for deen so I’m trying to do all but feeling exhausted.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

If you are unable to perform Salah standing without enduring extreme difficulty, and also find it difficult to perform Salah sitting on the ground, then you may perform your Salah by sitting on a chair. You should not place a table or any object in front of yourself, rather you should perform your ruku and sujood by gesture; ensuring that your gesture for sujood is lower than your gesture for ruku. If you are able to perform Salah seated on the chair, you should do before resorting to a chair.

Masha-Allah it is greatly pleasing to know how much khidmah and service you are doing for Deen. We make dua that Allah Ta’ala accept it. Aameen. You should consult with your wife and do as much as you can ensure that you do not neglect your family. You could try going for gasht every other week and doing ta’leem for every other Salah. We pray that Allah the Almighty continue to take the work of Deen from you, that He makes it easy for you, and that He grant you inconceivable rewards and barakah in exchange. Aameen.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best
