Question:

Is picking up and delivering a TV and charging money for it halal?

ANSWER:

In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

Though it can be argued that nowadays a television is predominately used to watch impermissible things, however, it is also used to watch permissible things and for other permissible purposes such as security cameras etc. Based on its permissible aspect, income gained from providing delivery services will not be unlawful.

Nevertheless, it will be advisable to seek other means of income that are solely and undoubtedly ḥalāl (lawful).
