Duʿā for asking Allah for firmness of the heart

In a world full of distractions and shifting values, staying firm on the truth is one of the greatest blessings a believer can ask for. The duʿā’:

“Our Lord, do not let our hearts swerve from the truth after You have guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Yourself. Surely, You, and You Alone are the Great Bestower.” (Āli ʿImrān 3:8)

This duʿā’ teaches us a powerful lesson: guidance is not guaranteed. It’s a gift from Allah, and just as it’s given, it can be taken away. That’s why the Prophet ﷺ often made duʿā’ for a heart that remains firm on the truth.

By regularly reciting this verse, we humble ourselves before Allah, acknowledging that our hearts are in His hands, and without His mercy, we cannot stay the course. In asking for steadfastness, we’re also asking for the strength to live with sincerity, clarity, and unwavering faith.

Make this duʿā’ part of your daily routine — because nothing is more precious than a heart that remains guided.
