What’s the ruling of using opiate drugs?
 
   

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful,
 
The ruling is just like any other drug i.e impermissible due to their intoxicant nature.
 
However, if they are used for a medical purpose and are prescribed by a competent medical doctor and there are no other permissible alternatives then it would be permissible to use them to the extent of necessity only.
