Question:
I’m a female. At the moment, I’m in the state of menstruation and my nikah and marriage will take place in a few days. I will most probably be in the state of menstruation. Is it permissible to get married in this state?
Answer
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
It is permissible to get married in the state of menstruation and this will not affect conducting the marriage[1]. However, after the marriage is conducted, sexual intercourse with one’s spouse is not permissible in the state of menstruation.[2]

وأما نحو الحيض والنفاس والإحرام والظهار قبل التكفير فهو مانع من حل الوطئ لا من محلية العقد
وفی البحر الرائق (3/109):
وأما المحلية۔۔۔وفي العناية محله امرأة لم يمنع من نكاحها مانع شرعي
هكذا في النهاية والكفاية

قوله ( وقربان ما تحت الأزار ) أي ويمنع الحيض قربان زوجها ما تحت أزارها أما حرمة وطئها عليه فمجمع عليها لقوله تعالى { ولا تقربوهن حتى يطهرن } البقرة 222
وفی الفتاوى الهندية (1 / 38،39):
الأحكام التي يشترك فيها الحيض والنفاس ثمانية۔۔۔ومنها حرمة الجماع هكذا في النهاية والكفاية
