Anas ibn Maalik (May Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the prophet (May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) used to enter the lavatory, he would say,

“O Allah, indeed I seek your protection from the male and female jinn.”

(Narrated by al-Bukhari in the chapter of invocations, Hadith 6322)

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلاَءَ قَالَ

 اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ.
