Ali Ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)

Ali Ibn Abi Talib

Ali Ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)

Ali ibn abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) was the fourth rightly guided khalifah of Islam. He followed in the footsteps of the noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the 3 khalifah`s before him. Ali was chosen as a khalifah after the demise of hazrat Uthman (peace be upon him).

Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was the cousin of the holy prophet (peace be upon him) as he was the son of the prophets Uncle Abu Talib. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) spent his childhood emulating the noble character of the prophet and his youth he spent learning the details of Islam. Ali grew into a noble warrior, physically strong and assertive but with a humble hurt filled with love for Allah, Islam and the prophet (peace be upon him).

Muslims remember Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) for his courage, honesty his generosity, kind behaviour to others and his unswerving devotion to Islam. He was one of the most heroic companions and was known for his bravery in every single battle that he took part in. He supported the Muslims in every single battle that took place in the early days of Islam.

When the prophet migrated from Makkah to Madinah he lay in the bed of the prophet to give the disbelievers an illusion that the prophet is still in the house.

Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) fort distinguished himself as a warrior in the battle of Badr when he outwitted his opponent in a single combat. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) also overcame his opponent in a duel in the battle of Uhud and Khandaq.

After Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) became the Khalifah he continued to live a simple life. As a Khalifah he only ruled for a few years, which were full of tests and difficulties. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) overcame all the difficulties by following the noble teachings of the prophet and the Khalifa`s before him.

Allah have mercy on Ali and may Allah be pleased with him. Ameen.
